URL Redirector

Managing a large volume of redirects can be a nightmare for enterprises. Traditional approaches like manually configuring web servers or maintaining custom scriptsare error-prone, time-consuming, and challenging to scale. Harper’s redirect component provides streamlined redirect management with one-millisecond redirect resolution times, even at a massive scale.

Managing a large volume of redirects can be a nightmare for enterprises. Traditional approaches—like manually configuring web servers or maintaining custom scripts—are error-prone, time-consuming, and challenging to scale.

Harper’s redirect component provides streamlined redirect management with one-millisecond redirect resolution times, even at a massive scale.

Harper’s Fused Technology Solution

Reference Architecture
  1. Call is made to /checkredirect endpoint with a specific URL entry.
  2. If found, it returns the new URL, along with the redirect type (301, 302). If not found, it returns false and the target page is served.
  3. Page returned to client.

1 Millisecond Redirect Resolution

Harper’s redirect engine fuses API and in-memory data systems into a single process, ensuring ultra-low-latency 1-millisecond p95 response times even with millions of redirect values.

Integrates with Existing Infrastructure

Harper is designed to operate within existing infrastructure layers to ensure that the absolute minimum amount of network latency is added to the total response time.

Intelligent & Scalable Processing

Built-in support for dynamic rules, bulk imports, and API-driven management eliminates the operational overhead of traditional redirect solutions. Furthermore, the Harper Redirector scales horizontally and natively replicates redirect rules across the distributed node network.

Harper Redirector is purpose-built for large-scale redirect management, eliminating the inefficiencies of legacy systems and manual processes. Whether you need to migrate, consolidate, or optimize your redirects, Harper Redirector is worthy of consideration.

5 Architectures for Web Personalization

Personalization is a data-delivery problem. Every architectural choice reduces to two distances: compute to user, and compute to fresh data. This piece maps five real architectures against both axes, scored on a concrete retailer workload where stale or slow data breaks the business.

Agentic Engineering Needs an Opinion: Why Scale Starts with Architecture

AI coding works in a sandbox because the environment is trivially narrow. Real systems have history, constraints, and blast radius. Coding agents make sound decisions only when the architecture is explicit and shared. Opinion isn't a constraint on agentic engineering, it's what makes it possible at scale.

Building a Cozy Sandbox Game on Harper

A nature-restoration game with six biomes, 150 animals, and a real food web — built with a single Harper component as the entire backend. One YAML file wires the database, API, content seeder, and static host. The same binary ships offline on itch.io.

Your Website was Built for Humans. AI Needs Something Cleaner.

The web spent a decade optimizing for browsers. JavaScript-heavy rendering, dynamic CMS templates, and client-side hydration made pages beautiful and machines blind. AI answer engines retrieve, parse, and cite content directly. If your best content is trapped behind a render cycle, a cleaner source wins.
