DENVER – Sept. 23, 2025 – Harper, bringing next-level web performance to a digital-first world, today announced that its CEO and Cofounder, Stephen Goldberg, was named a 2025 Most Admired CEO by the Denver Business Journal. The annual award identifies the chief executives driving success and change at their places of business and within the greater Denver metro area.

Goldberg is a bold technologist and purpose-driven leader who has transformed the way enterprises build and scale modern applications. He’s successfully navigated the long runway from early innovation to market traction – most of the time doing so without external capital – to grow Harper into a 50-person company. Today, Harper runs nearly 2% of global e-commerce, helping customers dramatically reduce latency, increase revenue, and shorten time to market.  Fortune 100 retailers and other large enterprises around the world trust Harper to run billions of application calls per day, optimize SEO and core web vitals, and deliver personalized, real-time digital experiences – at scale and at the edge.

“I am honored to be named one of the Most Admired CEOs for Denver,” shared Stephen Goldberg. “I'm originally from the East Coast, but Denver has become my adopted home, and it's an honor to represent the city along with others who lead with integrity, conviction, and enthusiasm. I'm also so thankful for my team of technologists and staff that bring our customer-first vision to life each and every day.”

Goldberg’s contribution to the Denver technology ecosystem and startup community is unwavering. Named the 2023 Ethical Leaders of the Year by the University of Denver and a recipient of the prestigious Titan Award, Goldberg was recently appointed to the Denver Economic Development & Workforce Board. His long-term goal is to ensure that Harper not only grows in Denver but with Denver – aligned with the city’s evolving needs and aspirations.

These same underlying goals and values define Goldberg’s leadership style: empowerment, authenticity, and building systems that create a lasting opportunity for others. To learn more about Stephen Goldberg and the complete list of 2025 honorees, visit Denver Business Journal
